

The integrated office of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kamrup, first office of its kind in the state, has completed one year of its existence. The then Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in presence of Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the present Chief Minister and the then finance minister as well as local MLA, had inaugurated the integrated office on 1st Feb, 2021.
Taking part in an interactive session with all the officers and staff on the occasion of one year completion of this office, DC Kailash Karthik N congratulates all. He said that conducive environment contributes a lot in enhancing the capability of the persons engaged with. The present environment of the office has added value in the work culture of the office and he urged cooperation of all in maintaining this work culture in future too. Further he also emphasised on keeping the office neat and clean and urged all to render their services dedicatedly to ensure all round development of the district.
While addressing the officials, DC Karthik also said that the district has to achieve all the targets set by the government. He also said that last one year, the public from various corner had praised not only the environment of the office but also the dedicated work culture of the officials. He urged all to continue this flow and to be ready for quality delivery of services as per expectation of the public and thus to establish a clean and ethical governance.
Participating in the interactive session held at the conference hall of DC office, Amingaon, Superintendent of Police Hitesh Chandra Rai greeted all present. He also said that the present environment of the office has increased the dedication for work amongst the officials and all are extending services as a team. He congratulated DC Karthik for this team work.
In the interactive session, several officials including the District Development Commissioner Norsing Bey expressed their feelings in the context of the integrated office.
Two employees of DC office Jogendra Narayan Sarma, Nazir and Doloi Ranghang, Sr. Assistant, who have retired from their services last month, were also bid farewell officially in the interactive session. The ceremonial cake cutting on the occasion was also performed by the retired Nazir Sarma.
The interactive session was attended by the ADCs namely Dhrujyoti Das, Siddhartha Goswami, Pranab Dutta Goswami and Manali Jain along with other officials of district administration and various departments like P & RD, Education, Health, Sub Registrar, Circle Office, Revenue etc including Drivers, Guards, Canteen Staff and House Keeping Staff.
